Questions
What is a billiard rating converter?
A billiard rating converter shows what a pool player's rating in one system is comparable to in other systems, for example an APA skill level as a Fargo rating. It helps leagues, tournament directors and players compare players who play in different systems.
How do you convert an APA skill level to a Fargo rating?
Each APA 8-Ball and 9-Ball skill level matches a range of Fargo ratings. Enter the player's skill level and the Rating Converter shows the comparable Fargo rating and range, and the matching level in other systems such as NAPA, ABCD and VNEA.
Which rating systems does the Rating Converter cover?
Fargo, APA 8-Ball, APA 9-Ball, NAPA, ABCD ratings, VNEA, RDS, ARS, JGE and player levels from novice to pro. You can also create your own league's rating system and compare it against the rest.
What is the accuracy meter?
With Player check you enter every rating a player has. The meter (0 to 100) shows how well those ratings agree: more ratings, closer agreement and verified ratings score higher.
How much does it cost?
Two free conversions to try it, then $9.99 a year, renewing automatically until you cancel. Full refund within 7 days if you've done fewer than 5 conversions.
Are the conversions official ratings?
No. They're estimates to help compare players across systems. HillHill Billiards isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any rating organization; league and tournament rules always come first.
